What is HRIS Sync Job?
HRIS Sync Job does synchronization the data tables from Employee Central Module to Other Talent Modules in the Success Factors System.
For Example:
Employee’s Name/Gmail/Designation/Job Titles/HR/Manager/Performance
Evaluations/Address/Career/Goals Etc. If they required to send to the other
system (Basic Details required).
Internal Integration data between the
modules of the Success Factors use the HRIS Sync.
All the data is set in the HRIS Sync: As an
EC Consultant we are responsible to schedule the job in the provisioning
system.
Login to the Provisioning System and see how we synchronize and
maintain the job.
Once you login to the provisioning system
click on company hyperlink: Below is the screenshot.
You will be able to see the company page and search for the option called Manage Scheduled Jobs
Once you click on the Manage Scheduled Jobs you can be able to view
the different background jobs.
Click on Create New Job >>
In Create New Job Option >> Go to Job Types and you can see various job types
were many of them are auto schedule by Success Factors by default. Each job
types belongs to the various modules running in the background jobs. >> Search for the HRIS Sync and select the option.
>> Give the Job Name >> Job Owner (Admin who have complete access
to the provisioning system). >> Go to the
Occurrence and Notification Option and select the Occurrence you
required to schedule the job (Occurrence Once/Recurring or Dependent of).
Select the Recurring option and select the Recurring pattern as Daily/Weekly/Monthly or
Yearly and set the time.
>>Give the Start
Date & End Date
Job owner (Admin) gets an Email Notification
every midnight (Given Time) to schedule job or else you have an option
where you can give alternative emails for the additional users who want to
receive the notifications. This is all about the HRIS
Sync Standard EC Implementation Sequence.
